Ruggy grew up on a farm in a rural village in Southern California with a handful of stop lights and a festival dedicated to avocados. In fact, he ate avocado toast nearly every day before it became a global food phenomenon. Naturally, his next stop would become New York City.13+ years living and working in the Lower East Side has helped shape his taste in music, food, fashion, culture, global travel and politics.
